When the parents of the girl, age 4, were notified, they picked her up from the school and took her to the USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit. When the doctors studied the results of the toxicology tests, it was reported that the child, who was also drooling and listless, had a 0.29 blood alcohol concentration.
