A 60-year-old Florida man was recently arrested after he allegedly threatened a churro vendor during a dispute in South Miami Heights, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
The authorities reported that the incident allegedly happened in early November 2025 in Miami-Dade County. The vendor was selling churros from a trailer in a residential area when a man who reportedly lives nearby approached him. According to an arrest affidavit, the two allegedly began arguing about the vendor operating in the area.
Investigators reported that the situation escalated when the man retrieved an aluminum bat from his vehicle. The authorities stated that he allegedly held the bat in what was described as an aggressive manner and made a threat toward the vendor while warning him to quickly leave the area. The vendor later reportedly told deputies he was afraid he was going to be harmed during the encounter.
