A Delaware man was arrested for nearly two dozen counts of theft offenses after the police asserted that he was the suspect in a theft spree spanning approximately seven months.
According to reports, between the end of April and the end of October, multiple stores in Prices Corner had merchandise swiped from their shelves. Some of the businesses that reported shoplifting were Acme, Bath and Body Works, Target, and Walgreens; in total, they lost thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
The authorities opened an investigation, and they reported that they found similarities in the way the suspect stole the items and that each event was carried out by a white male. On August 17, the shoplifting escalated into a robbery when an Acme store had merchandise stolen by someone who threatened to kill one of the workers before leaving the premises.
