A woman suspected of driving under the influence with a toddler in her car was arrested when she was pulled over after reportedly almost colliding with a tow truck.

At approximately 2:30 AM on August 5, a woman was driving a Mustang in Kent with a 3-year-old passenger. A tow truck was on the same side of the street, and a Kent Patrol Officer was following behind it with their lights turned on. It was reported that the woman nearly crashed into the truck, and the officer decided to initiate a traffic stop.

The woman pulled over without incident, and when the officer walked up to the window to talk to her, they noted that she did not put the car in park. When asked for her identification and proof of insurance, she still reportedly left the car in drive. A toddler was seen in the back of the vehicle, and they were allegedly sitting without a child’s car seat or safety belt on.

A man from Wyoming who was making his way to California allegedly hijacked a car, called 911 several times for a tow truck, and got naked on the interstate to prove he was unarmed when police arrived.

On the morning of August 23, 911 received a slew of calls from someone who wanted the assistance of a tow truck because his tires were punctured. The caller was informed he was not to use 911 for that reason since it is not considered an emergency. The police went to the caller’s location to check on them, and they said the tires on the vehicle were fine.

Right after the police left, the man allegedly called 911 again, and officers returned. They reported that they saw the man in the middle of the street trying to get vehicles to stop for him. When one of the drivers stopped their car, he entered it, and reportedly told the driver to go to the nearest police department.
