A man in Florida was arrested after an alleged stolen golf cart ride ended with a serious injury and a decision to leave a friend behind instead of stopping to help.

According to police reports, the incident happened in Key West and began earlier in the day when the suspect and another person allegedly took a golf cart without permission. Investigators said a master key was used, which can start multiple golf carts. After allegedly taking the cart, the suspect reportedly drove around the city for a while.
