A couple who are biological scientists at the University of Florida are facing felony charges after it was discovered that they allegedly kept their youngsters in cages.

The parents have a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old. Recently, the older child was at school when he reportedly became upset about going back home. He reportedly told his teacher that he gets locked in a cage, and his younger sibling gets trapped under an overturned crib.

Their father works at the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, and their mother works as a safety manager at the Plant Pathology Department. According to reports, the 6-year-old said his dad leaves him locked in the cage while his mother is at work.

A Florida woman is in legal trouble after allegedly leaving her youngsters alone in her vehicle while entering a mall, and the car reportedly caught fire while she allegedly went inside to shoplift.

On May 26, a woman reportedly went to the Oviedo Mall with her two children and parked her car in front of a department store. When she got out of the vehicle to head inside, she allegedly left the youngsters by themselves. A man reportedly accompanied her into the mall.

According to reports, the pair went to Dillard’s, and employees became suspicious that they might be shoplifting during the hour they were in the store.

A lieutenant with the Kissimmee Police Department was accused of domestic violence-related infractions and allegedly tried to stop her partner from leaving when they were fighting. 

Erika Castellucci was employed with the Kissimmee Police Department as a lieutenant since Fall 2018.  

On the evening of December 29, Castellucci was reportedly at home spending time with her partner. The pair had reportedly been drinking wine together.

A woman accused of driving under the influence reportedly got into an accident with another vehicle and tried to flee, and the alleged victim used his car to trap her at the site.

Dana Winfrey, 24, resides in Antioch, Texas, approximately 12 miles from Nashville.

On October 30, Winfrey reportedly went to The Dogwood Nashville bar.

An Oregon man whose van got stuck in the snow is facing felony charges after he called for assistance and was allegedly caught with a teenage girl who had gone missing from home.

37-year-old Christopher Thomas Knox reportedly recently rented a van and allegedly took a trip to an area near the capital city of Washington, where he picked up the 13-year-old daughter of a mother with whom he was acquainted.

The pair allegedly went on the road together in the rental vehicle and were driving near the coastal town of Knappa, Oregon, just under 200 miles from the girl’s residence. While navigating through a mountainous area, the van became stuck as a result of the heavy snow that accompanied the recent storm system moving through the region.
