Texas Couple Accused of Luring and Robbing Teens

A Texas teenager was arrested after the authorities accused her of helping set up two robberies involving boys she met through online dating sites, including one incident in which a 15-year-old was shot multiple times.

According to reports, the teen was taken into custody on Friday and booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center. She was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and could also face an additional charge related to tampering with evidence.

The investigation centered on two separate incidents that allegedly occurred after the suspect and her 17-year-old boyfriend recently moved to the area. The authorities said the pair allegedly used online dating platforms to arrange meetings with young males before carrying out robberies and assaults.

In one case, a teenage boy allegedly agreed to meet the girl at a local park. The authorities said he was later attacked by her boyfriend, who allegedly took his money during the encounter.

A second incident involved a 15-year-old boy who allegedly traveled to the same park to meet the girl. According to investigators, she later convinced him to walk to a nearby apartment complex. As they approached the residence, the boyfriend allegedly appeared while loading a firearm. The alleged victim reportedly tried to flee but was shot four times before being robbed.

Despite his injuries, the boy managed to reach a nearby coffee shop, where people contacted emergency services. He was transported to a hospital and treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The boyfriend had already been arrested earlier in the week and faced two aggravated robbery charges.

During the investigation, the authorities said they had intercepted a phone conversation between the girl and her boyfriend. Investigators alleged that she told him she had disposed of the firearm believed to have been used in the alleged robberies.
