Three Maryland Men Arrested for Gunpoint Robbery

Three men were arrested last week on dozens of charges for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery.

On the evening of January 11, the authorities received a call from a man who reported that someone he knew had held him at gunpoint while taking his $1100 jacket and his money. The alleged thief was accompanied by an individual, and after the incident, they reportedly took off in a green vehicle.

When deputies located the car described by the caller, they found three men, along with ammunition and multiple guns in the vehicle.

The suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Detention and Rehabilitation Center on several charges. The 18-year-old is facing preliminary charges of armed robbery, possession of a regulated firearm by someone under 21 years of age, wearing/carrying a loaded handgun in a vehicle upon public roads, two counts of wearing/carrying/transporting a handgun on a person, possession of a regulated firearm after being convicted of a disqualifying crime, illegal possession of ammunition, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony/violent crime, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and theft between $100 and $1500.

The 19-year-old is accused of armed robbery, possession of a regulated firearm by someone under 21 years of age, loaded handgun in a vehicle, handgun wear/carry and transport in a vehicle on public roads, loaded handgun on person, wearing/carrying/transporting a handgun on a person, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, illegal use of a firearm during the commission of a felony/violent crime, and theft between $100 and $1500.

The 22-year-old is expected to face charges of loaded handgun in a vehicle, wearing/carrying a handgun, and transport in a vehicle on public roads, loaded handgun on person, wearing/carrying/transporting a handgun on person, possession of a regulated firearm after being convicted of a disqualifying crime, illegal possession of ammunition, and possession of a rapid-fire trigger activator.

At the time this was written, they were all being held without bond.
