A man from Kentucky at a Disney resort restaurant with his family was accused of using his cell phone to film a 10-year-old boy over the top of a stall in the bathroom while the youngster was using the toilet.
On October 7, a 22-year-old man was having a meal with his family at the Grand Floridian Café inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Disney World.
He reportedly went to the restroom, where a 10-year-old boy was already using the facilities. The man allegedly went into a stall and pulled out his cell phone. He reportedly held the phone over the top of the stall divider and angled it so that the child was in view.
According to reports, the man began recording video of the youngster while the boy was sitting on the commode.
After the child left the bathroom, the boy told his family what happened. He told them he spotted the man and said he noticed he was wearing black Sketchers.
The boy and someone from his family went back to the bathroom to see if the suspect was still there. They found the man, and he denied the accusations.
The authorities were notified, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department deputies went to the restaurant to investigate. When the man was asked to give them his phone, he was using it, and the police believed he was deleting evidence of the incident.
The deleted album on the phone was searched, and a video of a boy on the toilet was reportedly found.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Orange County Jail. He is expected to face charges on suspicion of third-degree video voyeurism. After posting $5000 bail, he was freed from incarceration.
