Wedding Crasher Cut in on Newlyweds’ Last Dance

A woman has been accused of behaving in a disorderly manner after she was said to have caused a disruption when she walked in on a wedding reception to which she was not invited.

A wedding celebration taking place at the Lion’s Club in Treasure Island reportedly had a “crasher” arrive as the newly married couple were on the dance floor for their final dance of the event.

It was reported to the authorities that a woman came into the party and made her way onto the dance floor with the couple before some of the people in attendance made an attempt to usher her back out of the event.

The woman, later identified as 46-year-old Christine Elizabeth Chandler, allegedly went back into the reception and again began dancing with the invitees. Guests brought her back to the exit and the police had arrived at the same time.

When taking a statement from the DJ about what happened during the reported incident, he told them that Chandler “was belligerent and refusing to leave” the wedding. She was allegedly heard saying, “I’m not f*****g going anywhere,” when the people tried to eject her from the event.

Chandler was taken into custody and spent the night in jail before issuing $150 bond, and she was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
