Woman Struck by Angel on Christmas Morning

A woman’s Christmas morning was reportedly less than peaceful when she and her boyfriend had a dispute and the man allegedly struck her in the head with an angel figurine.

At approximately 7:00 AM on December 25, a woman and her boyfriend were spending the holiday morning together at a home in Clearwater, Florida.

The couple, who have reportedly been dating on and off for just under a decade, reportedly got into a disagreement.

It was reported that the dispute escalated, and the man allegedly grabbed an angel ornament and threw it in the direction of his girlfriend.

The delicate figurine reportedly hit the woman in the head, and it shattered when it struck her.

The authorities were notified, and officers with the Clearwater Police Department went to the residence.

When they arrived, the police noted that the woman had pieces of shattered ornament on her back underneath her clothing.

It was asserted that her boyfriend threw the figurine, and the police handcuffed him and read him his rights.

When they asked the man for his side of the story, he reportedly told the police it was his girlfriend who threw the ornament and hit him.

The police checked him to see if he had any remnants of the busted angel on him, but they reported that they did not find anything.

The man was placed under arrest and booked into the Pinellas County Jail. It is expected that he will face two felony counts of domestic battery. He is being held on a $7,500 bond. If he is released from custody, he is not allowed to contact the alleged victim.

According to the police report, there was no indication that the man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the alleged altercation.
