According to reports, a 56-year-old woman and her 18-year-old daughter earn their living by traveling around the United States making house calls to customers to perform a butt implant procedure using an injectable medication. They reportedly do not have medical licenses in this country, but the mother attended medical school in Mexico for three years. The woman has reportedly been performing the procedure for several years. When she spoke to a news outlet, she said she puts her heart into her work and provides a service to help others.
At the end of March, the Federal Drug Administration and the Houston Police Department were investigating the woman’s activities. They knew she went to the private homes of her clients to do the work, so they set up a sting inside a house in Houston and had an undercover agent book an appointment.
The woman and her daughter reportedly went to the address with suitcases holding a substance believed to be used for the butt implant injections. The undercover agent was also allegedly given a Xanax pill to help take the edge off before the procedure. The woman reportedly charged $6,000 for the service and she collected the fee in cash before she planned to begin.
When the investigators made themselves known, the woman was allegedly unable to identify the medication she was using in the injections. It was suspected that she was obtaining the drugs from another country and smuggling them into the United States.
The woman is facing preliminary felony charges for delivering a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of practicing medicine without a license. Her daughter is also accused of practicing medicine without a license.
