AMBER Alert Activated to Find Woman who took Kids after Stabbing Ex

A woman from Florida and her ex-husband allegedly got into an argument leading to her stabbing him and running off with their two children.

32-year-old Di’Last Kellie used to be married, and she has two children, ages 13 and 10.

In the early evening on November 13th, Kellie was reportedly at her ex-husband’s home in Lake Mary.

The pair allegedly began to argue, and Kellie reportedly responded with violence.

It was reported that the children were not in the general vicinity at the time, but Kellie allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed her ex in the chest.

Following the alleged attack, Kellie reportedly gathered her children and left her ex-husband’s home while he was severely injured.

Kellie’s husband was found and taken to the hospital for treatment, and it was announced that he remains in critical condition. He told the authorities that he did not know where Kellie had taken the kids.

The police began searching for Kellie and the children, and a Missing Children Alert was instituted. They believed the woman was currently armed and dangerous.

The search for the missing children concluded in Orlando, approximately 8 hours after they left home.

The authorities performed a traffic stop on her vehicle, and they identified Kellie and the kids.

It was determined that the children had not been harmed in any way during the time that they were with Kellie.

Kellie was taken into custody and booked into the Seminole County Jail without bond. She is facing charges of first-degree premeditated attempted homicide.

The reason for the reported disagreement between Kellie and the alleged victim has not currently been disclosed, but the authorities reported that she is being interrogated about the incident.
