Drunk Driver Crashed into RV Parked at Casino

When a Nevada man was accused of crashing into an RV while driving under the influence, he reportedly could not answer simple questions when interacting with the police.

Around 3:00 pm on August 7, a vehicle reportedly caused an accident when it crashed into an RV parked at the Saddle West Hotel Casino RV Resort in Pahrump.

The authorities were notified, and the Nye County Sheriff’s Office sent officers to the location of the wreck.

The paramedics were already at the scene when the police arrived. The man who allegedly caused the crash was still in his vehicle.

The man was identified as Paul Heinen. He said that he was the owner of the trailer that was involved in the accident.

First responders provided a report to the police asserting that the man had consumed vodka and took hydrocodone.

A deputy spoke to Heinen, who reportedly showed physical signs of intoxication. It was confirmed that the RV belonged to Heinen, and the deputy asked him what led up to the accident.

Heinen reportedly said that he lost consciousness while he was driving. He also allegedly admitted that he had taken a mixture of prescription pain medication and vodka.

The man reportedly said that he consumed the intoxicants at 4:00 am. When the officer asked him if he knew the current time, the man said he believed it was 11:00 am. The officer noted that it was actually just after 3:00 pm.

The deputy reported that Heinen was unable to correctly name the current President of the United States. He reportedly said he thought Donald Trump was still the president.

Heinen was placed under arrest and booked into the Nye County Detention Center. He is facing charges for DUI.
