A man is facing multiple domestic violence-related offenses after allegedly causing physical harm to his pregnant housemate when he allegedly made her swallow a burning blunt.

According to reports, a 24-year-old man and the pregnant woman with whom he shares a residence had experienced a couple of violent incidents, and the most recent one led to his arrest. The pair lives in Cherry Valley, Illinois, which is approximately 10 miles from the Wisconsin border. On March 8, the man allegedly physically attacked the woman by choking and burning her. Two days later, while she was lying in bed, the man reportedly became aggressive with her again.

The woman said he was trying to force her to allow him to wash her feet, and the man allegedly roughly took her to their upstairs bathroom. He reportedly put his hands around her neck and choked her until she broke free, and he walked out of the room. A few moments later, he reentered the bathroom with a burning blunt (marijuana rolled in cigar paper). The man allegedly shoved the smoldering item into her mouth and made her swallow it.

A 34-year-old Georgia woman who was believed to be intoxicated is facing many charges after reportedly leaving her youngsters at a fire department and forcing the police to chase her as she drove away.

According to reports, late in the afternoon on March 23, a woman who was believed to be intoxicated and her two young children were passengers in a vehicle, when the driver was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence. Just after 1:00 AM the following morning, the woman, again with her youngsters as passengers in the vehicle, drove to a fire station in Meldrim. She reportedly parked her car and passed out, and when she was seen by the firefighters, they went to see what was going on.

They reported that the woman looked like she had passed out, so they took the children out of the vehicle. She woke up and allegedly told the first responders that she had consumed a lot of alcohol, and then drove away and left the youngsters behind. They were able to trail her until sheriff’s deputies joined the pursuit and eventually used a PIT maneuver to force her to stop. The deputies reported that they found several alcohol containers in the car.

A mother of two in Indiana is facing several charges after allegedly leaving her two babies at home alone for 14 hours when she went out to drink at a bar.

Just after midnight on March 12, a woman from Muncie with a one-year-old and a one-week-old reportedly decided to go out drinking. Before making her way to the bar, she reportedly consumed a six-pack of 16 oz. beers. When she headed out the door, she allegedly left the babies by themselves. A few hours later, the authorities received a report about an accident involving a car that crashed into a pole. When the police arrived, they found that a woman who would later be identified as the mother of the children was the driver of the vehicle.

While interacting with her, the police believed she was intoxicated. They also asked her if she had children when they saw a child safety seat in the back of her car, but she reportedly declined to tell them about her youngsters. Coincidentally, around 2:30 PM, they received a call from a concerned citizen who reported they heard babies crying inside a home. They provided the police with an address, and they learned that the woman arrested at the scene of the accident was their mother.

Three people were arrested after a Maryland man was found running down the middle of the street after escaping from three individuals who he accused of holding him captive for almost 24 hours and attacking him.

According to reports, on the morning of March 9, a man whose identity has not been released was going to meet his girlfriend’s brother. They planned to work together on repairing his vehicle. While he was en route, three individuals, later identified as two men and a woman from Darlington, reportedly intercepted him and violently attacked the man before abducting him. After the alleged ambush, the trio reportedly left the man gagged and tied up in a garage for nearly 24 hours.

The following morning, the alleged captors went out, and the man saw it as an opportunity to try to get away. He was ultimately successful, but he was unable to take the gag out of his mouth and untie his hands from behind his back. He was spotted running down the middle of the street, and the authorities were notified.

A mother was released on bond while her boyfriend remains in jail after they were accused of abusing and injuring the woman’s daughter, but the couple said the youngster’s bones had been shattered due to a genetic medical condition.

According to reports, on January 8, a child’s mother brought her to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. After she was examined, she was diagnosed with a broken arm, broken ribs, and broken legs, in addition to two missing teeth, and marks that looked like bruises and teeth marks on several parts of her body. The medical staff reported that some of those injuries seemed to be from an earlier time since they were partially healed. The hospital believed the injuries were caused by child abuse, and they notified the authorities. Law enforcement from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation.

When the 28-year-old mom spoke with the police about the situation, she reportedly told them the toddler, whose age has not been disclosed, has Brittle Bone Disease. The authorities questioned her about her 29-year-old boyfriend’s proximity to the child. The woman allegedly told them he is rarely alone with the youngster, but they reportedly discovered texts on her phone between the couple where she admonished him for treating her daughter badly.

A Texas woman is facing charges after allegedly threatening her husband with a kitchen knife following an argument over a gift she did not like.

According to reports, a woman from McClellan told her husband that she wanted a bracelet for Valentine’s Day. He presented her with a present in the morning on the holiday, and when his wife opened it, she saw he had purchased a necklace for her. She allegedly became agitated because he did not gift her the bracelet. The man was annoyed by her unappreciative attitude, and he left the house to go to work.

It was around 4:00 PM when the man got home, and the couple started to argue again. He decided to leave the house again for a few hours to see if some time apart would calm things down, but his plan was reportedly unsuccessful. When he came back a few hours later, he reported that his wife was still very upset, and she allegedly walked up to him with a large kitchen knife in her hand. The woman reportedly yelled at him while allegedly pointing the blade in his direction. It was reported that she also taunted him by telling him to “Come and get it.”

A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly hiding a missing teenage boy she had been trying to adopt.

On February 10, a teenage boy was reported missing from an academy that provides care for children who have had multiple unsuccessful foster placements. He had been given permission to visit a local park, but when staff went to pick him up, he was not there. When the authorities were notified, they began investigating, and learned that earlier that day, the boy had been involved in an incident with a woman who volunteers at the academy.

According to reports, the woman had been in the process of trying to adopt the teen, but she was ordered to cut off all contact with him. When she talked to the authorities, she reportedly said the last time she saw him was at the park, and she had only gone there to give him food. When asked if she knew where he might have gone, she suggested that they search the Tampa area.

Two men who were reportedly sleeping in a car in front of a gas pump were arrested after allegedly attacking sheriff’s deputies who were checking on them.

On the morning of February 3, two 26-year-old men and a 4-year-old girl were in a car parked in front of a gas pump at a 7-Eleven in Davenport. The vehicle was there for a while, and someone notified the authorities. When deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office went to investigate, they reported that they found the men and child sleeping in the car. When they were awoken, the situation reportedly took a turn for the worse.

One of the deputies intervened when they believed the driver was trying to start the car, and the passenger got out of the vehicle and allegedly tried to get away. According to reports, the men bit and attacked the law enforcement officers. One of them also allegedly bit the ear of a K9 at the scene.

The parents of a 15-year-old girl are facing many charges after allegedly locking her in a chicken coop for months and feeding her only packages of ramen.

It was reported that last September, Child Protective Services was contacted by a 15-year-old girl who told them that her parents had been locking her in a chicken coop for several months. They notified the Farmington Police Department to report the situation, which reportedly involved a couple who was believed to be abusing their teenage daughter, and an investigation was opened. The police learned that the parents of the 15-year-old had more than one child in their Farmington home. The couple allegedly treated the other children well, but they were reportedly subjecting the young woman to horrible abuse.

According to reports, the teen was locked inside a chicken coop for long periods, even during times of inclement weather, in which she was forced to stay on her feet. She was reportedly fed nothing but packages of ramen, though the rest of the family ate normal meals. Additionally, her parents allegedly only let her use the bathroom twice a day. The alleged abuse reportedly continued for months before CPS was alerted. Approximately five months after the investigation began, detectives believed they had enough evidence to prove the claims of abuse were true.

A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly attacking two women in a Catholic school parking lot during a dispute over a handicapped parking spot.

On September 25, a physically disabled woman and her 22-year-old daughter went to the school at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Orlando to pick up her 5-year-old granddaughter. The woman parked in a handicapped spot near the front of the school, and her daughter went inside to retrieve the child. When the family was getting ready to pull away, an individual in a truck drove up and blocked their path.

It was reported that a 65-year-old man was driving the truck, and he allegedly began yelling at the women for parking in the handicapped spot. He reportedly showed them his parking sticker and accused them of wrongfully taking the space. The disabled woman held up her placard to try to ensure the man she had the permit. He allegedly accused them of trying to use it for a different vehicle than the one it was assigned to and said they had to stay until security handled the issue.
