A home health care worker in North Dakota was arrested after allegations of stealing credit cards from a vulnerable woman she was taking care of and using them for over $8,000 worth of purchases.

On June 2, the Fargo Police received notification about a possible fraud case involving a vulnerable adult and their caregiver. The alleged victim saw her credit card statement and believed a substantial amount of money was charged to her card without her consent. She reported that she suspected the woman who provides her with medical assistance was the person who made the purchases.

The 22-year-old from Fargo had access to the residence since she had been providing in-home health care to the woman.

A woman who resides in Red Bluff was arrested after she was accused of embezzling more than $100,000 from an employer by using a company credit card without authorization. 

In May 2022, the Major Crimes Unit at the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation into a possible embezzlement crime. 

The detectives believed the purportedly embezzled money started disappearing in March 2019.

A Florida man is facing several charges after being accused of extorting underage girls to force them into giving him explicit photos and sexual favors. 

61-year-old Jose Manuel Pinto Florez lives in St. Johns, Florida. 

According to reports, someone notified the authorities in June and reported that they suspected unauthorized activities were occurring on a computer network.

A biology teacher in New York was arrested after the police were told that she gave a student a COVID vaccine in her home without first getting permission from his parents. 

54-year-old Laura Parker Russo resides in Long Island, New York. She is a biology teacher for Herricks County Public Schools. 

The woman has a teenage son, and Russo was reportedly at home when the boy had a 17-year-old friend come over for a visit.

The police arrested two suspects after an alleged car thief forced them to chase him until he smashed into a vehicle which was also reportedly found to be stolen.

On the morning of July 5, the Newberg-Dundee Police Department received notification from the owner of a Toyota Land Cruiser who stated that their vehicle was missing.

When they began to look for the vehicle reported as stolen, the authorities saw someone driving a Land Cruiser fitting the given description and attempted a traffic stop.

A man is facing charges after he allegedly allowed a 12-year-old girl in his care to operate his SUV at a reported speed of 85 MPH.

Shaun Michaelsen is a 41-year-old resident of Jupiter, Florida.

On June 8, Michaelsen was reportedly caring for his female friend’s 12-year-old daughter and one of the preteen’s friends for a couple of days.

One of three teenagers was arrested after the trio was accused of stealing and causing a wreck in a Meals on Wheels delivery vehicle while the driver was delivering a meal to a client.

63-year-old Balroop Primal is a delivery driver for Meals on Wheels in Queens, New York. He drops off food to the clients 6-days a week using a vehicle provided by the company.

Last Wednesday, Primal was in the middle of delivering breakfast around 9:15 am. The man, who said he had regularly done the same thing on many occasions, left the vehicle running with the keys inside and thought that he locked it before he brought the meal to the client.

When a man reportedly decided he would use an electric shopping cart for transportation so he would not get in trouble for driving his vehicle after consuming alcohol, he was instead charged for taking off with a store’s property.

Just after midnight on November 10, someone placed a call to the Terrebonne Parrish Sheriff’s Department to let them know that a motorized shopping cart from Walmart that was meant for disabled shoppers was parked in a bar’s lot.

A deputy dispatched to the Houma, Louisiana, watering hole where the shopping cart was allegedly seen in a parking spot with a car on each side of it.

After the authorities looked into the report of a hidden camera located in a bathroom at Applebee’s they suspected a Long Beach man who works at the location was responsible for the act and he was placed under arrest.

On Sunday, one of the workers at the Signal Hill Applebee’s restaurant allegedly spotted a camera hidden in a bathroom inside of a trash can that had been modified with a hole on the side of the receptacle. The police were notified and they began investigating the claim.

Upon reviewing the contents of the camera taken from the trash can it allegedly contained images of eight women and one man which were taken while they were using the employee bathroom. The recordings were said to have taken place during a five-week period beginning on July 5, and the people depicted in the images also work at Signal Hill Applebee’s.
