A man and woman who were allegedly drinking in a Florida park were apprehended after they reportedly engaged in sexual behavior inside the playground equipment tunnel.
In the morning on June 4, 52-year-old Sharon Finlay and her boyfriend, Germain Loen Jackson, 44, were reportedly hanging out at Pocahontas Park in Vero Beach, Florida. The couple was allegedly drinking vodka and malt beverages on the playground.
The pair reportedly crawled into the tunnel attached to the jungle gym and started to get sexually intimate with each other in public.
Someone spotted the couple’s alleged concealed sexual play and called the authorities to leave an anonymous report about the ongoing illicit display.
Officers from the Vero Beach Police Department went to the park to follow up on the report. When they reached the playground tunnel, they allegedly stumbled upon the pair while the man was allegedly performing oral sex on the woman. The woman was reportedly visibly nude from the waist down, other than the shorts around her ankles.
When they spoke with the pair, the officers identified Finlay and recorded that she is homeless. Jackson’s identification showed that the man is from Boston.
According to the affidavit, the police inquired about the situation, and Finlay told them that she and her boyfriend were “making out.”
Jackson allegedly boldly stated that he was enjoying performing oral sex.
The officers asked about the bottles of alcohol that were reportedly present, and Finlay was recorded as admitting that they both imbibed, and that “you only live once.”
Finlay and Jackson were both placed under arrest and booked into the Indian River County Jail. They are each facing charges for one count of possession or consumption of alcohol in public.
