Florida Woman Assaulted Dad for Passing Gas

When a daughter and her dad reportedly got into a fight induced by the man breaking wind, the woman allegedly resorted to physical violence and injured her father.

Early in the morning on August 23, 40-year-old Nicole Marie Dozois allegedly became angry with her father.

Dozois and her dad live together in a home in Largo, and the pair both sleep in the same bedroom.

Her father reportedly had intestinal distress for which he relieved by passing gas, and his daughter allegedly started an argument about it with the man.

When Dozois and her dad were reportedly yelling at each other the woman allegedly escalated her expression of anger into physical violence against the man.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the alleged domestic unrest, and the authorities headed to the home in response to the report.

When they arrived, the police found Dozois and her father inside the residence together, and they noted in the police report that the man had visible wounds.

The police recorded that they were told that Dozois used her fist to repeatedly strike her father in the face, and there was blood on his eye that they asserted was a result of the alleged attack. It was additionally noted that Dozois’ dad was sporting marks on his neck that looked like they came from being scratched.

Dozois, who has prior criminal convictions, was taken into custody and booked into the Pinellas County Jail as the instigator of the incident.

She was charged for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, and when she was granted permission to leave the jail she was given the stipulation that she is disallowed from having any contact with the alleged victim.
