Girlfriend Denies Slim Jxmmi’s Alleged Domestic Battery

The girlfriend of rapper Slim Jxmmi spoke out about the arrest and domestic battery charges against her beau, stating that the police misunderstood what transpired between them during the incident.

30-year-old Rae Sremmurd rapper Aaquil Brown, who goes by the professional name of Slim Jxmmi in his rap career, has been with his girlfriend for approximately four years. The couple has a child together, and they reside in Miami.

Last Tuesday, Brown and his girlfriend reportedly got into an argument regarding women on social media. Things escalated to the point that the police were called, and officers went to the couple’s home.

According to the affidavit, the pair had a disagreement involving their child during their dispute. Brown, who was allegedly intoxicated, reportedly tried to grab the baby out of the playpen to prevent his girlfriend from picking up the child.

The police also said that Brown’s girlfriend accused him of yanking out her extensions when he allegedly attempted to grab her by the hair.

It was noted that the woman said she started to record the incident with her cell phone. When Brown reportedly noticed that she was doing so, the man took the device from her and threw it over the balcony onto the ground below.

It was reported that the authorities found the phone when they searched around the area that it was reportedly tossed. They noted that it did not appear to be broken, and they gave it back to the woman.

Brown was taken into custody and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center for domestic battery, and he was held on a $1,500 bond.

Following the arrest, Brown’s girlfriend made her displeasure about the way the police handled the incident known.

It was reported that the woman said the police misrepresented her words when they wrote the police report and that they had escalated a small dispute into something it was not. She is quoted as saying, “Dade County y’all are wrong for this. I told you guys he did not hit me. Every officer you guys had in my face are wrong for this. No hands were put on anybody, I stated it more than once.”
