Michael Geronimo Ramos and his soon-to-be ex-wife live in Wichita Falls, Texas.
On April 1, Ramos’ wife filed for a divorce. She reported that she was afraid of her husband after he began making threats towards her.
Since her arrival at home, things were reportedly tense between the woman and Ramos.
The police were dispatched to the home for a reported domestic issue at some point in the evening, but no arrests were made, and they left the scene.
When Ramos’ wife went to the bedroom, where she had round-the-clock streaming surveillance cameras to ensure her safety, she began live chatting with someone using her cellphone.
Ramos entered the room, and while the person on the other end of the stream was still connected, he reportedly began to threaten his wife.
According to reports, Ramos screamed at his wife and told her she was “possessed by demons.” The man allegedly said he was going to chop off her head and set the house on fire.
The authorities returned to the residence just before midnight.
When talking to Ramos about the allegations, the man reportedly admitted he made the threats.
Ramos was placed under arrest and booked into the Wichita Falls County Jail. He is facing charges for terroristic threats against family/household members. He was additionally charged with evading arrest for allegedly trying to flee from the police.
On April 7, Ramos was released on a $7000 surety bond, and the judge granted a protection order for the alleged victim.
Ramos was taken back into custody the following day for an alleged violation of the order and later released on a $2500 bond.
