A Colorado man was arrested after the police alleged that he was pleasuring himself in the view of patrons in a Florida Walmart parking.
On the afternoon of February 17, a woman was parking her car so she could shop at the Walmart in Vero Beach.
As she got out of the car, she reportedly saw a man seated in a Kia parked next to her. When she walked past the car, the woman said she saw the man sexually touching himself.
The alleged witness notified the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office and reported what she believed she saw.
Deputies made their way to the location and spotted the car they believed the woman had reported, and the driver was stopped by the officers.
When one of the deputies initiated a conversation with the man, identified as 26-year-old Kyle Weiss, he was asked to step out of the car.
The deputy noted in the police report that Weiss had “an obvious erection” when he stood up.
Weiss was told that he was not under arrest, but he chose to answer the officer’s questions about the circumstances leading to the incident.
According to the affidavit, Weiss disclosed that he worked for a company where he collects and delivers grocery orders for people. Weiss, who is from Denver, reportedly said that he was yearning to spend time with his girlfriend.
When Weiss reportedly talked about the claims that he was masturbating, he told the deputy that he did not do it. The deputy continued asking if he was telling the truth and inquired about how his grocery-related job spurred his solo sex session.
Weiss allegedly admitted he was “lonely” and trying to relieve some of his pent-up sexual tension.
Weiss was taken into custody and booked into the county jail. He is facing charges for suspicion of misdemeanor exposure of sexual organs and disorderly conduct.
He was released later on a $1,000 bond.
