Luck Ran Out For Gamblers Busted in Long Beach Residence

Three arrests were made when the authorities interrupted a group of people who were allegedly gambling at a home in Long Beach, and it was speculated that the activities the suspects were taking part in qualified as an illegal betting operation.

For reasons that have not yet been made public, the authorities turned their attentions to the social activities reportedly taking place inside of a residence in Long Beach.

After they were issued a search warrant on Friday, officers from the Long Beach Police Department showed up and entered the home in question around 9:00 pm.

When they walked through the door, the police allegedly saw several people that were visiting the home.

Four allegedly illegal tabletop style video gambling machines, ammunition, four firearms, and an estimated $2,000 in cash were reportedly collected by the police from inside of the residence during the search.

After the police finished speaking with people at the home three suspects were targeted as the perpetrators of what has been purported as an illegal gambling operation.

The alleged offenders were identified as 46-year-old Rouet Nay from Long Beach, Santa Ana resident Roland Amrikhas, and Fountain Valley local Anh Ngo, 29.

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Long Beach City Jail where they are being held in lieu of bond.

Nay and Ngo are facing felony charges for suspicion of gambling stakes, and Amrikhas has been accused of illegal possession of a firearm, and illegal possession of ammunition.

The Long Beach City Police Department reported that they are continuing their effort to collect information about the allegations.
