The authorities have asserted that within a few minutes, a Nebraska man allegedly burglarized two residences and a local business.
28-year-old Baron Collier was reportedly roaming a neighborhood in Lincoln on the morning of August 9.
The man allegedly broke into two residences.
One of the homes he was accused of burglarizing was found with damage done to the door indicating that someone had broken in. The police believed Collier was the culprit.
A second house was allegedly breached, and two people in the area reportedly saw a man clutching a handbag when they looked through the window into the residence.
When the alleged thief left the house with the purse, he reportedly went into a neighboring backyard where he was seen rifling through the contents.
He reportedly immediately went a few blocks from the homes and broke into a liquor store. While inside the establishment, Collier allegedly swiped 12 miniature bottles of whiskey.
The authorities were notified about the alleged theft spree. They collected statements from the people who said they believed they encountered the suspect. The people described the person they saw to the police.

It was reported that the man, identified as Collier, was discovered in the back of the liquor store, and he still had the spoils of his alleged whiskey heist.
Collier was taken into custody and booked into the Lancaster County Jail. He is expected to face charges for two counts of criminal trespassing, one count of burglary, and one count of criminal mischief.
