When a nude Florida man allegedly tried to rob a home, he was met by the owner who proceeded to defend his property by stabbing the purported thief.
At the beginning of August, a homeowner and his housemates were inside their house with the window open.
They reportedly heard a noise, and when the man went to inspect the source of the sound he allegedly came face-to-face with someone trying to break into his home through the window that was left ajar. The purported burglar was also allegedly not wearing any clothing.
The man who lives at the address reportedly that he hurriedly warned the other person in the home of the alleged intruder before exiting the premises upon delivering the information.
The second man, who was still inside the home with the alleged burglar, reportedly started a scuffle with the suspect and stabbed the intruder in the neck using a knife before meeting his roommate outside to go to a neighbor’s residence.
According to statements, the suspect proceeded to grab a piece of furniture and run after them while wielding it.
The pair was able to make it inside of their neighbor’s home without incident, and the alleged burglar was stuck outside the locked door.
The suspect, identified as Willis Hudson, 22, of Jacksonville, reportedly ditched his clothes and wallet at the scene and left.
When the Lake City authorities were alerted about the situation, officers went to the address of the reported crime and said they discovered Hudson’s items.
Soon after, Hudson was taken into custody by deputies for the allegations, and he is facing felony charges for suspicion of burglary with battery, and attempted burglary to a dwelling causing over $1,000 of damage.
He was incarcerated in lieu of a $60,000 bond.
