Naked Suspect Lived Life in the Fast Lane Until Arrest

A man was taken into custody after allegedly sprinting down the shoulder of an Arizona interstate without clothing.

21-year-old John Kramer was recently released from incarceration.

On April 9, Kramer reportedly made his way to Interstate 10 in Phoenix without a vehicle.

Kramer was reportedly hanging onto the back of a semi-truck, and the driver of the big rig did not know he was there.

While Kramer was on the truck, the driver was in an accident with another semi.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety was alerted about the accident, and troopers were sent to the scene.

The unknown hitchhiker, who was donned in a single sock, a pair of boxer shorts, and a tee-shirt, reportedly started to pound on the back window of the truck in a purported attempt to alert the driver that he wanted to disembark from the vehicle. Kramer also allegedly attempted to climb through the window before he hopped off the rig.

When law enforcement arrived, they reportedly witnessed Kramer running down the Interstate and shedding the few pieces of clothing he had on before walking into the lanes of oncoming traffic.

A trooper was able to hastily advance on and identify Kramer.

After the naked man was detained, he allegedly gave a statement to the officer admitting he boarded the truck without permission and held on as it traveled down the Interstate. He additionally reportedly admitted he was under the influence of narcotics.

Kramer was placed under arrest and booked into the Maricopa County Jail. According to booking records, he is expected to face several charges, some of which are listed as assault, offenses against a public officer, and criminal trespass and burglary.
