Persistent Flasher Apprehended After Sighting at Target

A man who was wanted on a warrant for public masturbation was apprehended when he was seen in the parking lot of a Pasco County Target store.

In Wesley Chapel on Thursday, employees of a Target reported a vehicle in their parking lot being driven by a man they believed resembled someone recently known for publicly exposing himself in store parking lots in the area.

The man, identified as 69-year-old Robert Digiacomo, had an active warrant for his arrest filed by the state district attorney when he didn’t show up for a mid-September court appearance. The case that the warrant was issued for is regarding a prior incident that reportedly happened in March for suspicion of exposure of sexual organs, in which it has been asserted that Digiacomo made a habit of touching himself in parking lots in the view of the public after more than one person complained that they had seen him in action.

Deputies from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office searched the area around the establishment and located the suspect’s vehicle in a Sam’s Club parking lot next door to the Target store.

When they talked with Digiacomo regarding the alleged situation, the man was reported as responding to the deputies by simply stating, “I am just an a$$hole. What can I say?” before becoming completely tight-lipped.

Digiacomo’s alleged candid response was not valid enough a reason to satisfy the deputies, and the man was placed under arrest and booked into the Pasco County Jail for suspicion of indecent exposure and held in lieu of a $2513 bond. According to jail records he was released from custody just before 11:00 pm the following night.
