Purse and Sex Toy Held Hostage in Domestic Dispute

A Florida woman was arrested for alleged battery after a physical fight broke out when she refused to return a sex toy to its rightful owner, and he took her purse in retaliation.

On the morning of October 29, a 32-year-old woman and her male friend were at a residence in St. Lucie County when they got into an argument over a sex toy.

It was reported that the woman had possession of the toy, but the man was reportedly the rightful owner.

The man reportedly asked her to return his toy, and the woman allegedly refused to give it back.

When he was unable to convince her to return his property, the man grabbed his friend’s purse and used it as collateral to try to negotiate a trade.

The woman grabbed onto the purse to try to get it away from the man, and they were both “pulling back and forth with the bag,” according to the arrest affidavit.

She stumbled backward and fell onto the couch, and the woman reportedly bit her friend. It was reported that the man punched her in the face to try to get her to stop biting him.

When she was struck, the woman’s lip was cut open and she obtained a fresh bruise on her cheek.

Deputies from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office arrived around 8:30 AM, and when they spoke to the woman, she told them the man lied about the physical portion of the fight. She said he pushed her down and she kicked and bit him to get him to back off. She said he responded by punching her.

The deputies decided she was the aggressor, and the woman was placed under arrest and booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on a $500 bond. She is expected to face one count of domestic battery – touch or strike for the incident.
