A man is facing multiple charges after reportedly causing a nuisance at two churches that allegedly included adding extra spirits to the spirit of Christmas by spiking the holy water with whiskey in one of the houses of worship.

On the evening of December 24, the Holy Angels church was in the middle of its 5:00 mass when an unknown man entered. According to reports he walked to the front of the church and placed an onion on the floor before he walked out of the building. When parishioners went outside to see where he went, the man allegedly tried to pelt them with tangerines before running away.

During the second incident, which occurred approximately 45 minutes into the midnight mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, a man walked in with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. While there, he allegedly threatened to hurt the people in attendance and stated that he wanted to “kill Catholics.” The man reportedly dumped the whiskey into the holy water, which he allegedly said he did so he could “blind Satan.” The authorities were notified, and parishioners forced the man to remain there while deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office went to the church.

An 86-year-old woman is facing charges for allegedly bilking a 99-year-old legally disabled veteran who lived in the same retirement community out of $10,000 and successfully concealing it until he passed away.

Holiday Lake Ridge Village is an all-inclusive independent living community in Eustice, Florida. One of the positions at the facility is “ambassador.” The ambassador collects the mail, works on putting together events, and shuttles other residents to appointments. An 86-year-old woman residing in the senior living facility was given the job, and she held it until she moved out in the summer.

While the woman was still living there, a 99-year-old legally blind and deaf veteran was involved in a financial scam that was discovered by his family in June, after the man passed away. His son said he saw unusual activity after he found evidence of a $10,000 cashier’s check drawn from his father’s account and made out to a woman whose name he did not recognize.

A reportedly intoxicated mother in West Virginia is facing charges after the police allegedly found her with a disabled youngster standing outside her vehicle near traffic on a busy street.

On June 28, a child’s legal guardian had to take her husband to a medical appointment, and she left the boy’s birth mother in charge of taking care of him while she was gone. The guardian reportedly made it clear that they were not to leave her McDowell County home in her absence.

Between midnight and 1:00 am, members of the Logan County Station volunteer fire department went to help a woman that accidentally locked her keys in the trunk of her car. When they arrived, they reported that they saw a child in a diaper and tee shirt standing outside the car. The youngster was allegedly close enough to the road that he could be hit by a moving vehicle.

A San Diego man has been accused of attempting to kidnap the young daughter of a blind man after he encountered them on a light rail train.

On August 18, a blind man and his 6-year-old daughter were riding the Blue Line together from Long Beach back to their residence in the Westlake area of Los Angeles.

As the dad and his child were sitting together on the train, a man reportedly began conversing with him and made comments about his child. The father reported that the stranger was acting in a manner that was overly friendly for what he deemed was appropriate for the interaction.

A blind and disabled man dressed in a yellow Minion character costume who was entertaining as the mascot of a store on the boardwalk in Daytona Beach was allegedly the victim of a random attack by an Instagram internet performer.

25-year-old Ryan Nihart has two Instagram channels where he posts videos under the name Bouje Ratchet for a fan base of approximately 4,000 followers who view his material.

On Sunday, July 8, Nihart reportedly went to the Daytona Beach boardwalk and approached 40-year-old Jamie Roehm. Roehm is a legally blind and disabled man who dresses in a costume depicting a character from the movie Despicable Me who works as the mascot of Jungle George, a business on the boardwalk.
