A Delaware man was taken into custody for suspicion of his eighth DUI and many additional charges after the vehicle he was driving flipped over during an accident and injured two passengers.
Just before 3:00 PM on April 11, 50-year-old Richard Cook was driving a Nissan Quest in Georgetown. He had a 49-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man riding as passengers in the vehicle.
It was reported that Cook, who is a convicted felon with a suspended driver’s license, lost control of the car. The vehicle left the road and flipped over on its side as it entered a wooded area.
