A Delaware man was arrested after reportedly stealing a truck with over $12,000 worth of liquor with the alleged intention of selling the booze for cash to pay his drug-related debts.

According to reports, a 39-year-old man from Gaston had been struggling to pay his debts and was living in his automobile. On the morning of May 30, he was reportedly sitting in his vehicle outside the Cheers Tavern in Muncie when he spotted a liquor distribution box truck parked in front of the establishment. He allegedly concocted a plan to steal the vehicle and its contents, which were reported as being $12,546 worth of alcohol, and sell the spirits for the money he needed.

He reportedly disabled the GPS and camera in the truck and then allegedly drove away. The authorities were notified, but they did not immediately find the suspect. Officers from the Muncie Police Department were patrolling near the local Shriners Club, and they saw a truck matching the description of the one taken from the bar. They checked it out and confirmed that it was the vehicle that belonged to the liquor distribution company, but no one was found inside the truck.

A Florida man is facing several charges after reportedly stealing a tractor from his place of employment and driving it to a college campus with the alleged intent of killing two people.

Early in the evening on May 4, a man who works as a groundskeeper at the Key West Golf Club reportedly swiped a tractor from the property and drove it to the College of the Florida Keys. When he reached one of the dormitories, the man allegedly drove into the lobby and used the bucket to wreck the plumbing in the building.

According to reports, he then made his way to the parking lot where a man and his daughter were sitting in a vehicle, and they reportedly watched as he allegedly smashed into a truck with enough force to flip it. Afterward, he reportedly struck the front of their car, and they got out to avoid potential injury.

A Florida man who reportedly passed out in the driver’s seat was arrested when the police allegedly found he had drugs and a hidden child in his truck.

In the middle of December, a 25-year-old man from Wildwood was sitting in a Dodge Ram near the gate of the Village of Hemingway on the Sumter County side of the Villages.

At around 3:00 AM, a deputy from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office spotted the vehicle, which displayed Illinois license plates. The deputy noticed it was idle and had what appeared to be one of the front tires elevated on the median. They decided to go over to the spot to investigate the situation.

An Alabama man was arrested for drug-related offenses in Florida when the authorities found him outside a residence seated in his truck with a parrot on his shoulder.

On the morning of December 15, a man driving a truck reportedly pulled up to a residence in Chipley, a Northwest Florida city in the panhandle. He exited the vehicle and allegedly started banging on the door. The residents reportedly told him to leave their property several times, but the man allegedly disregarded their requests.

He returned to his truck, but the man remained parked in front of the home. The residents notified the authorities and reported the situation.

When a Florida man and his ex-girlfriend returned from a boating trip, he allegedly choked her and struck her several times.

On the evening of August 13, a 45-year-old man and his ex-girlfriend were on his boat, and when they were finished, they planned to leave from the Black Point Marina. Before they got to the shore, the man allegedly hit his ex in the back of the head three times and caused her to fall.

When they got to the marina, they took the boat from the water and loaded it onto a trailer that was attached to the man’s truck. The pair got into the vehicle with the man in the driver seat and the woman in the passenger seat.

A man and woman from Mount Union, Pennsylvania are each facing a multitude of charges after allegedly stealing items from Walmart stores around the state to sell for narcotics.

On May 27 at approximately 8:30 p.m., a male driver with a female passenger in his truck was pulled over by the police for alleged erratic driving.

After stopping the truck, the driver reportedly got out and began to flee. He fell to the ground after trying to jump over the embankment, and when the police caught him, they tazed the man.

A Florida man with three children and a woman in his vehicle was reportedly traveling 60 miles over the posted speed limit to get his girlfriend to Taco Bell as quickly as possible. 

On March 21, a man was driving a Mercedes in Palm Bay, Florida, with his girlfriend and three children in the automobile.  

An on-duty officer with the Palm Bay Police Department was on the same road when they reportedly saw the vehicle whiz past at more than double the posted speed limit. The driver also allegedly almost crashed into a dump truck as the car weaved in and out of different lanes. The dump truck had to maneuver quickly to avoid being hit.

A Florida Man on a motorcycle was arrested after he was hit by a truck while reportedly flipping the bird to the police that he was allegedly trying to flee from. 

Late in the evening on March 3, a group of at least 7 motorcyclists was riding down a local street in Volusia County. They were reportedly driving unsafely and darting between cars. 

Deputies with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department saw the motorcycles doing “wheelies” and began to pursue them. They tried to perform a traffic stop, but the riders reportedly ignored them.

A suspected intoxicated driver in Pennsylvania was taken into custody after he allegedly used his vehicle to damage a private residence and flipped the truck on its side. 

Early in the morning on October 23, a man who was asserted to be under the influence of alcohol was driving his truck through a residential area in Lebanon County. 

According to reports, the man allegedly drove the vehicle onto someone’s lawn and began to do a “burnout.”

A Clay County deputy was relieved of his duties after being arrested a second time for allegedly driving while intoxicated, approximately 10 months after a previous DUI. 

Last December, the director of corrections for the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office rolled through a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle. He was arrested for driving under the influence, and he pleaded no contest to the charge. His conviction led to his demotion to lieutenant. 

On the night of October 15, the deputy was driving in town when his truck reportedly left the road and ended up in a ditch.
