A food delivery driver in upstate New York is facing felony charges after reportedly recording and posting a video of a customer who was partially unclothed and apparently unable to wake up.

The situation began during what was believed to be a routine food-delivery assignment. The worker later posted online and expressed that when she arrived at the customer’s residence, the front door was open, and the customer was lying partly nude on a couch in clear view from outside the home. She said she recorded the scene from the doorway or porch area. She then uploaded the footage to her social-media account, where it quickly spread and drew widespread attention.

In the days following the incident, the worker reported that the encounter included sexual misconduct directed at her. She also insisted that she never entered the residence and that she had evidence showing that the door had been open before she arrived, although she had not released that proof. She additionally reported that her delivery-platform account was deactivated after the video circulated, leaving her without the job she relied on for income.

A man dropping off a DoorDash order at a residence was arrested after allegedly returning to the home the following day with a firearm, presumably because he felt gypped since he was not given a tip.

On the evening of June 4, a family in Vancouver, Washington, ordered approximately $100 worth of food using the DoorDash app. When the delivery driver dropped off the food, the recipients did not choose to give him a tip. He initially left without incident, but according to reports, he returned the following morning to attempt to collect the gratuity.

The man who lives at the residence reported that his 19-year-old daughter answered the door, and it caught his attention when he heard someone getting aggressive towards her. He saw that it was the DoorDasher from the previous night, and the driver reportedly lifted his shirt to show he had a gun in a holster around his waist. The resident was able to wrestle the gun away when the pair were involved in a scuffle in the driveway before the man drove away.

On May 27, a couple visited a Jersey Mike’s in Navarre and said they needed to pick up orders for DoorDash clients. The woman visited the restroom before the pair left the restaurant.
