A father and his son were allegedly beaten with brass knuckles during a dispute as they tried to leave the Eastern Idaho State Fair over Labor Day weekend.

The father told deputies that he saw his son being attacked after being knocked to the ground. According to the arrest affidavit, one suspect pushed the son against a vehicle while holding him by the neck before throwing him down and stomping on his stomach.

The father was also allegedly attacked after he told a group of people to move out of the roadway. One suspect allegedly responded with gang-related comments before pulling out brass knuckles and striking the father in the head.
