A Florida man who believed he was being chased by a spirit reportedly fled through the streets and attempted to break into an occupied home for asylum.
On May 24, a man and woman rented a room at Daytona Beach Travel Inn.
The pair went into their room, and after approximately half an hour after they got there, they heard noises coming from the window causing them to think someone was trying to break in.
While the authorities were responding to an emergency call regarding a possible injury, the man who asked for help is facing charges after they discovered methamphetamine inside of his residence.
On Wednesday, 911 received a call from a man stating that he needed help because he had been injured when he was hit in the head with an ax.
Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies went to the address and discovered the man who allegedly placed the call standing in the doorway talking to himself and using obscene language.
