A woman who teaches language arts at a Michigan high school is facing several charges after a couple of her students reportedly ate THC candy that she allegedly brought into the classroom.
According to reports, on the afternoon of November 13, an incident occurred during the last period at Angola High School that led to the teacher’s arrest. It began when two students in the classroom reportedly ate gummy candies that contained THC. The next day, the school resource deputy found out about the situation, and detectives from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office joined them in the investigation.
When they talked to the students who ate the candy, they said they saw it sitting out and thought it was regular candy. It was believed that the gummies were brought into the classroom by the teacher and that she was the one who had left them out in the open. The teacher was asked to go to the sheriff’s office to discuss the situation, and she agreed to meet them.
