A group of people in Portland are facing charges after the police learned they were allegedly operating a business called Shroom House where they sold magic mushrooms. 

According to reports, a store in Portland, Oregon called Shroom House opened its doors to the public on October 24. The shop reportedly sold magic mushrooms to the public. 

When the authorities learned about the establishment, they reportedly had two undercover agents visit and purchase just over an ounce of mushrooms. The fungi allegedly tested positive for psilocybin.

On August 13, a 32-year-old woman who previously lived with her father in The Villages returned to his residence after reportedly moving out six months prior. 

It was reported that the pair were not on good terms when she showed up, and the woman’s dad asked her to leave. She was allegedly unwilling to depart. 

The authorities were notified, and the woman reportedly tried to tell them that she was the owner of the dwelling, but she was unable to show them proof.

A Tennessee woman with prior legal troubles is facing multiple charges after she was allegedly caught with contraband while she was being booked into jail for suspicion of driving under the influence. 

During an interaction with the police on the morning of November 9, a woman in Newbern was accused of driving under the influence.  

She was placed under arrest for DUI, and they transported her to the county detention center for processing.

A North Carolina man was jailed on multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a residence and stealing several firearms and a vehicle. 

On October 20, a home near the Catawba River in the city of Lincolnton was reportedly broken into while the residents were not home. 

A family member of the homeowners saw that the front and basement doors were open, but they knew the residents were out. They notified the authorities about the situation, and officers were sent to the address.

A California man is facing many charges after he was caught driving an unregistered tow truck with drugs, a gun, and ammunition allegedly found inside. 

Late in the evening on October 17, deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office were patrolling when they saw a tow truck carrying an automobile without safety lights.  

It was reported that upon further inspection, the police noticed that the truck, which had a Virginia license plate, displayed a registration tag that was not up to date.

A Pennsylvania man who was reportedly found passed out behind the wheel allegedly dragged an officer over four yards with his vehicle while trying to escape.

Early in the morning on October 4, an officer with the Penn Hills Police Department was alerted by a tow truck driver about a car accident. The tow truck driver reported that a Chevy Equinox had veered off the road.

The officer located the vehicle nearby. He reportedly saw the driver behind the wheel with the engine turned on and assumed that the man was asleep.

An employee at a correctional facility in Louisiana was arrested and fired after it was discovered that he was allegedly bringing narcotics into the jail and selling them to inmates. 

According to reports, the police suspected that someone was bringing drugs into the St. Tammany County Parish Correctional Center and selling the narcotics to some of the inmates. 

The authorities began to investigate the situation, and they suspected that one of the officers employed at the facility was bringing the drugs in.

A Florida woman was placed under arrest and jailed after she reportedly walked up to police officers and handed over a couple of bags of methamphetamine before telling them that she wanted to be incarcerated. 

On the evening of August 30, officers with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office were conducting an investigation in the vicinity of the Red Tiki Bar and Grill in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Just after 9:30 PM, a woman reportedly randomly walked up to a corporal who was working on investigating the scene of an unrelated situation.

A man accused of carrying a gun around in an apartment complex was taken into custody after the police chased him and allegedly found him in possession of drugs and the firearm. 

Late in the morning on August 26, someone called the authorities and told them that a man holding a firearm was walking around their apartment complex. 

Officers with the Portage Police Department went to the reported address to investigate.

When the authorities walked up to a man who was using a pipe and determined that he was smoking meth, the suspect reportedly informed them that methamphetamine is now legal in the Sunshine state. 

According to his arrest record, 31-year-old Enzo Zabala-Cardozo is from St. Petersburg, Florida, and he is currently without permanent housing. 

Early in the morning on August 4, Zabala-Cardoza was reportedly standing in an alley when officers with the St. Petersburg Police Department noticed him. They thought they saw a glass pipe and a lighter in his hands. As they got closer, the police alleged that he was holding the pipe to his lips and trying to light it with the lighter.
