A worker at a Georgia autism therapy center was arrested after the authorities said security video showed a 5-year-old child being stepped on while lying on the floor.
According to reports, the incident happened on April 28 at an autism therapy facility in Richmond County. Investigators reportedly reviewed surveillance footage after someone contacted law enforcement about what allegedly took place inside the center.
Police said the video allegedly showed the employee using her foot against the child’s face and back while the boy was on the ground. The authorities also claimed the worker stepped on the child as he attempted to get back up from the floor.
