Teen Reported Parents For Torturing and Starving Her

A 15-year-old girl spoke with the authorities and made allegations that she has been experiencing years of agonizing torment at home, and her parents have been charged for the reportedly despicable acts.

Utah couple Kimberly Marie Tutt and her husband Trev Jordan Tutt live in Ogden with their three daughters.

Recently, their 15-year-old alerted the police about how she was allegedly being treated by her mother and father at home. The girl, who the authorities believed appeared as if she was too small for her age, stated that she was punished by her parents in cruel ways, such as restricting her food intake and forcing her to go days at a time without water. The girl said she was regularly chained to the underside of her bed, and that the abuse had been going on since she was in 7th grade.

The police interviewed 35-year-old Kimberly and 32-year-old Trev regarding the allegations made by the teenager, and they both were recorded as saying they did not perform the acts that the child described. It was reported that they said that of their three daughters, she was the one who was disciplined most often. According to news reports, the couple told the police that they limited the amount of food they gave their daughter but she was not starved.

Kimberly Tutt was taken into custody and she is facing felony charges for second-degree child abuse, third-degree aggravated assault, and misdemeanor child abuse. She was incarcerated in lieu of $17,500 bail.

Jordan Tutt was placed under arrest for the allegations and he has been charged with felony second-degree child abuse, and misdemeanor child abuse, and he is being held on $12,500 bail.
