Three Victims Stabbed by Man Claiming to be Jesus

A reportedly homeless man who was invited to stay at a home in Carrick allegedly said that he was Jesus before stabbing three people in the residence.

33-year-old Rami Jasim stays in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania. The man reportedly does not currently have a permanent residence.

Jasim encountered a man who resides in Carrick. Upon learning he did not have a place to stay, the man invited Jasim to crash at the house.

Early in the morning last Monday, Jasim was talking to a group of people in the home.

During their conversation, Jasim allegedly proclaimed that he was Jesus. The man reportedly unexpectedly attacked them and began to stab three of the people.

911 received a call about the incident, but the call was reportedly disconnected after the person on the line said that someone tried to murder them.

Law enforcement was sent to the address.

When the police arrived, they saw the alleged stabbing victims, but Jasim was not readily noticed.

The alleged victims were transported to the hospital, where it was reported that one of them was in critical condition.

When the officers searched the home for Jasim, they reported that they could hear suspicious sounds that seemed to be coming from the basement.

They went downstairs to inspect the sound, and Jasim was in the rafters, purportedly trying to hide from law enforcement.

Jasim was taken into custody and booked into the Allegheny County Jail. He is facing charges for three counts of attempted homicide and three counts of aggravated assault.

The authorities were able to collect statements from two of the three alleged victims. The third was unable to talk due to sedation.
