A man from Florida’s Gulf Coast is facing charges after he allegedly hit his mother in the head with spaghetti sauce while they were having a fight.

On the evening of August 4, a 41-year-old man and his 61-year-old mother were at the residence they share in St. Petersburg. According to reports, the pair sat down together for a pasta dinner, and the meal was interrupted when they began arguing. The reason for their verbal disagreement was not disclosed, but things escalated until the situation allegedly became physical. Though he did not directly strike her, the woman’s son reportedly threw spaghetti sauce in her direction, and it got all over her.

The authorities were notified, and police went to the address to see what was happening. The man was still at the home when the officers got there, but when he saw them approaching, he reportedly ran outside and into the backyard. They began looking for him, and the officers saw him in a spot that looked like he was trying to hide behind a shrub. It wasn’t long before the man was caught and detained. The police did not note any physical injuries in the initial report, but they said the alleged victim still had sauce on her.

The authorities reported that a 14-year-old boy may face charges after allegedly driving under the influence and leading them on a chase which ended when he hid inside of an outdoor freezer.

On June 28, an officer from the Kent Police Department was patrolling when they reportedly saw a vehicle that was driven through the intersection without stopping at the posted road sign. It was also asserted that the car was being operated erratically, and the officer decided to perform a traffic stop. The driver reportedly ignored it, and when he came to a red light he allegedly failed to stop. The officer trailed behind the vehicle and watched the driver hit a curb and allegedly run another red light. According to reports, the driver kept going despite one of the tires falling off the car, but he slammed into a second curb and could not continue.

The driver immediately got out and ran away from the police, and officers pursued him on foot. The King County Sheriff’s Office also assisted by air with a helicopter, and they were able to keep an eye on the suspect as he headed through the yards of nearby properties. He spotted a freezer that opened from the top, and the authorities reported that he climbed inside.

During the traffic stop of a dad in West Virginia, an officer allegedly found a gun in the vehicle and a 7-ounce bag of methamphetamine in his teenage daughter’s sweatshirt.

On June 9, a man was cruising down the highway in Arlington with his 2 daughters, ages 12 and 14. A deputy from the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling the area, and they noticed that the vehicle had dark-tinted windows. They also believed the exhaust was unusually loud, so they performed a traffic stop.

The driver pulled over, and when he first talked to the deputy, he was asked for the usual items, such as proof of registration. When he was unable to give that to the deputy, the vehicle’s status was checked. In addition to having illegal inspection stickers, the authorities discovered the car was reported stolen in Ohio. The man explained he made a deal with the owner and traded his truck for the vehicle. He said he still had to take care of the title change.

A Florida man donning a pair of underwear around his neck may face criminal charges after he was reportedly found wandering around in an area where two bonsai trees worth $7,000 had recently been stolen.

According to reports, a few weeks ago, someone swiped both trees from a home on a residential street in Cape Coral. Late in the evening on January 11, neighbors on the same block noticed a man on the property from which the trees were taken. There were additional bonsais at the residence, and it raised their suspicions when they spotted the alleged interloper.

One of the neighbors notified the authorities by phone, and when describing the man, they said he was wearing all dark clothing with a dark mask covering his face.

After a Woodway man who was accused of sexually assaulting a child for six years was arrested, the youngster’s mother reportedly defended him and said the girl lied.

According to reports, on November 17, an 11-year-old girl who attends River Valley Elementary School went to a counselor and reported that she was being sexually abused at home by a man who lives with her. She reportedly said the 37-year-old would go out and return home very drunk, and though she tried to hide in her room, he would enter and sexually abuse her. She also told them it started when she was 5 years old and was ongoing. The school notified Child Protective Services to report the situation.

The McLennan Police Department opened a file, and investigators began to look into the claims. The investigators spoke to the child’s mother, who has two other youngsters, and she reportedly said that the man, who hadn’t worked in several years, stayed home and watched the kids while she went to work. Additionally, the woman alleged that her daughter made up the story about being sexually abused because she wanted to be sent to live with her grandparents. It was reported that she also allegedly defended the man and said he was an “idiot, immature, and inappropriate, but not a sexual predator.”

A Florida Man accused of burglarizing a home was reportedly found in the residence by police as he allegedly tried to conceal himself under a pile of insulation in the attic. 

On the evening of March 26, someone notified the authorities about their suspicion that someone had broken into a house in Fort Meyers. 

Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Department went to the reported address, and when they arrived, they believed they heard noises coming from the attic level.

Two Florida men who used to date reportedly got into an argument when one of them expressed a preference for uncircumcised genitals and became physically aggressive. 

Kyle Elias Perez, 28, and his 37-year-old ex-boyfriend live in St. Petersburg. Though they are no longer a couple, they have continued sharing the same home. 

Around 5:00 am on May 4, Perez was awake, but his ex was sleeping.

A reportedly homeless man who was invited to stay at a home in Carrick allegedly said that he was Jesus before stabbing three people in the residence.

33-year-old Rami Jasim stays in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania. The man reportedly does not currently have a permanent residence.

Jasim encountered a man who resides in Carrick. Upon learning he did not have a place to stay, the man invited Jasim to crash at the house.

A homeless man accused of stealing a car was reportedly located while sitting on the toilet in a bathroom in a Florida park with the lights turned out.

On April 20, the Titusville Police Department received notification from someone reporting that their vehicle had been stolen.

Just before 9:30 pm, a deputy patrolling Dale Wimbrow Park in Sebastian noticed a car that they believed was parked in an odd location.

When the police went to a residence the day after a domestic violence event was reported they had their attention turned to an alleged stash of illegal items inside of the home.

Kennett County Police Department officers arrived at the residence of 23-year-old Taja Rena Welton on Thursday afternoon regarding a domestic dispute claim reported on Wednesday. Welton answered the door to speak with them, and the police reported detecting a strong smell resembling marijuana.

The officers asked Welton if they could come inside and look around and she allegedly consented and escorted them through her home, where a 4-year-old child was also residing. While walking through as the police performed their inspected Welton was allegedly caught trying to hide a sizeable bag containing what they purported was synthetic marijuana. They also allegedly found a tray covered with what they believed was the same substance inside of the bag.
