One of the stars of “Tiger King” was allegedly busted last week for driving under the influence, in addition to other charges.
53-year-old Frank Allen Glover appeared on the Netflix series “Tiger King.” He reported that he had a special claimed connection with Joe Exotic.
Glover said that Exotic offered to pay him to kill big-cat activist Carole Baskin, with whom he had an ongoing rivalry.
Exotic is currently serving a prison term for the alleged failed attempt on the woman’s life.
On the night of August 5, Glover was allegedly driving erratically through Beaufort County when he was spotted by the authorities.
The police reported that Glover’s vehicle was seen weaving between the lanes on the road and that one of the lights meant to illuminate his license plate was burned out.
A traffic stop was performed, and the officer asserted that Glover was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
When his car was searched, an opened bottle of liquor was allegedly found.
The officer checked Glover’s identification and reportedly learned that the man was driving with a suspended license.
Glover, who has a prior DUI charge, and served a prison term that started when he was 18-years-old, was taken into custody.
He was booked into the Beaufort County Detention Center.
Glover is facing charges for suspicion of DUI, driving with a suspended license, and having alcohol with a broken seal in his vehicle.
He was reportedly held in jail for approximately 10-hours before his release.
