Woman on Roblox told Girl to Kill Baby and Caregivers

A Florida woman is being held without bail after allegedly using the Roblox gaming platform to encourage a 10-year-old girl to murder a 2-month-old by dropping it on its head, in addition to reportedly instructing her on how to kill her caregivers.

On October 17, the authorities received a call from the Gulf Coast Kids House in Pensacola. According to their website, they are an advocacy center that assists with “all of the professionals and resources needed for the intervention, investigation, and prosecution of child abuse cases.” They informed law enforcement that a 10-year-old girl caused serious harm to a 2-month-old by dropping him on his head. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation into the situation.

According to reports, their investigation led them to a 34-year-old woman who lives in Perdido Key. They reportedly found that she had been contacting the girl using the Roblox communication function, and allegedly told the youngster to kill the baby by drowning him or dropping him on his head on solid ground. The woman also allegedly told the girl to murder her guardians by slicing their throats and lighting their bed on fire after spraying it with a flammable substance.

The girl told the authorities she was afraid the woman would kill her if she did not do what she said. She did not harm her guardians, but she reportedly dropped the baby headfirst onto the kitchen floor.

On October 18, the woman was taken into custody and booked into the Escambia County Jail. She is facing preliminary charges of one felony count of attempted murder while engaged in aggravated child abuse. She is currently being held without bond.

It was reported that the 2-month-old suffered a fractured skull when he was dropped.
