A dad in Kentucky is facing many charges after he was reportedly caught driving with his young daughter on his lap while sitting on a sex toy and carrying several illegal substances in the vehicle.
52-year-old Charles Crawford resides in Frankfort and has a 6-year-old daughter.
Late in the morning on March 20, Crawford was reportedly driving in the local area. The man allegedly had his daughter on his lap.
Law enforcement spotted the man and child, and they performed a traffic stop.
It was reported that Crawford’s vehicle reeked of freshly smoked marijuana. When he was asked, Crawford allegedly showed the officer a partially smoked joint that was in the car.
The officer told Crawford to step out of the automobile, but it was reported that the man started feeling around for something in the seat instead of immediately exiting the car.
When he complied and got out of the vehicle, Crawford reportedly said there was a vibrator between his legs. A jar holding a powdered substance was allegedly found on Crawford when he was searched, and the authorities believed it was holding methamphetamine.
The inside of the vehicle was inspected, and the police reported that they located several pieces of drug paraphernalia, in addition to marijuana, a syringe filled with an unknown substance, several knives, and alcohol that was open.
Crawford was taken into custody and booked into the Franklin County Regional Jail. He is facing charges of felony first-degree wanton endangerment, felony first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, failure to wear seat belts, booster seat violations and failure to produce insurance card. He was incarcerated in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
