According to reports, three alleged victims in London recently came forward and claimed that Spacey had sexually assaulted them several years ago. The alleged incidents were reported to have taken place between the years 2005 and 2013.
One of the men, who is now 40 years old, said that Spacey sexually abused him in London 17 years ago.
A second alleged victim claimed that Spacey also sexually violated him in London. He said that he was sexually assaulted by Spacey twice in the summer of 2008. The man is now in his 30s. He reported that while he was above the age of consent at the time, the encounters between them were nonconsensual.
A man who is now in his 30s reported that he was sexually assaulted by Spacey in Western England in the Spring of 2013.
After the alleged victims reported the incidents to the authorities, an investigation into the claims was opened by the London Metropolitan Police and the Special Crimes Division.
On May 26, it was announced that Spacey, who is in New York right now, will be formally charged in the U.K. with four counts of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
Spacey issued a public response to the charges and said that he will go to London of his own volition. He vehemently maintains that he is innocent of the allegations. He said that he looks forward to appearing so he can provide proof that he is not guilty of the accusations.
