Public Masturbation Used as Natural Relief of Anxiety

A man who was reportedly trying to manage his anxiety through public masturbation was taken into custody after he was allegedly caught in the act inside a coin-op laundry business.

Around 2:30 am on September 11, 911 received a call from a concerned citizen reporting that a man was inside of a 24-hour laundromat that he believed had his pants down while touching his penis in public view.

Police dispatched to the location and saw a man allegedly seated inside the laundromat and masturbating. The suspect was also reported as using his cell phone to view pornographic material during the incident.

The man, identified as 20-year-old Carlos Salvador, was approached by police and arrested for the alleged public sexual behavior.

After he was read his Miranda rights and while speaking with the police, Salvador was reported as telling the officers that he takes part in public masturbation as a way to relieve his anxiety. He allegedly stated that he has used the method successfully in the past.

Salvador was taken to the county jail and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor exposure of sexual organs, and he has been released on his own recognizance.
