A woman who was taken into custody after allegedly masturbating in two public areas was reported as also doing so in the back of the police vehicle after she was placed in handcuffs.
Just after 5:00 pm on Tuesday, guests, and employees at a Marriott hotel in Austin, Texas, allegedly witnessed a woman sexually pleasuring herself in the outdoor sidewalk patio section of the hotel with what was believed to be an adult toy.
The public display reportedly went on for just under 10 minutes before the woman went to a new venue on the other side of the street and allegedly resumed publicly touching her privates on the patio belonging to a restaurant.
Police responded to a call placed by one of the Marriott employees and found the woman, identified as 26-year-old Dovie Nickels, with her arms allegedly making movements underneath the table where she was seated.
Nickels was reported as ceasing her alleged indecent behavior and placing her arms and hands in view when she saw the authorities. As they began to interact with her the police noted that she was allegedly sans pants.
The reported behavior resulted in Nickels being placed in handcuffs and seated in the back of a police car for transport to the county jail, but despite the metal restraints she allegedly resumed masturbating.
Nickels was incarcerated in lieu of $3000 bond, and she is facing charges of indecent exposure for her allegedly brazen public display.
