34-year-old Kanisha Booze resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, and she has three children. Booze is also employed at a local Taco Bell restaurant.
On June 18, just after 10:00 PM, Booze was reportedly under the influence of alcohol while on the Taco Bell premises with her vehicle.
While navigating out of the parking lot, Booze allegedly slammed her car into the Taco Bell marquis sign and their outdoor water meter, in addition to a tree on the property.
The woman allegedly sped out of the lot before reporting the incident.
When the authorities learned about the event, they began to search for Booze.
According to the police report, Booze was still close to the restaurant when they saw her “operating a motor vehicle southbound at an extremely high rate of speed.” The report also reflects that the woman ran two red lights.
When the authorities interacted with Booze, they learned that she was driving on a suspended license and had already been convicted seven times for the same offense.
The police believed they smelled alcohol when they were close to the woman, but Booze reportedly did not give her consent to taking a breathalyzer test.
Booze was placed under arrest and booked into the Pinellas County Jail. She is expected to face charges for suspicion of DUI involving property damage, driving with a suspended or revoked license with subsequent offenses, and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.
She was held until later in the morning on a $1750 bond.
