An attorney in Mississippi was arrested last week for allegedly trying to smuggle multiple items considered to be contraband into a county detention center.

On August 8, a lawyer from Terry, Mississippi went to the Hinds County Detention Center to visit some of the inmates he reportedly represents. He was carrying a silver briefcase when he entered, and the authorities became suspicious of what they believed was taking place during the meetings. They decided to inspect the contents of the case when they thought they saw him hand an envelope and cell phone to a detainee.

When it was searched, the authorities said the briefcase had many items that were illegal to bring into a detention center, some of which allegedly included a couple of cell phones, a digital scale, four sealed packs of cigarettes, four vacuum-sealed packs of what was believed to be marijuana, two cellphone charger blocks, two cell phone chargers, and multiple cigar wraps. They believed he was inconspicuously handing off the items to the people assumed to be his clients.

When an employee discovered a hidden camera recording her while she expressed breast milk at work the woman alleged that the owner of the firm was responsible for the secretly obtained footage.

On December 18, 32-year-old Jessica Clark went to a room in the firm where she works as an architect that she believed was private so she could pump breast milk. She allegedly saw an attaché case placed in a chair beside her. When she looked a bit closer at the briefcase Clark reportedly discovered what she believed was a pen attached to the bag.

Instead of the assumed writing instrument of which it held the appearance, Clark said she found that it was actually a USB style spy camera.
