Police in Grand Junction arrested the 18-year-old student after obtaining a search warrant. According to the Grand Junction Police Department, officers recovered a gun, a substance they suspected was cocaine, alcohol, drug paraphernalia, and identification cards bearing another person’s name.
The student was taken to the Mesa County Detention Facility and charged with first-degree criminal trespass of an inhabited dwelling, obstruction of telephone service, unlawful possession of a firearm at school, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of alcohol, criminal possession of an identification document, and domestic violence.
