A Florida man on probation for multiple charges reportedly fled from the police in a pickup truck with his father as a passenger and he began smashing into every vehicle that was in his path.
Early in the afternoon on November 20, officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department set out to arrest a man on probation until 2033 who has several pending criminal charges. Before they could take him into custody, he got in his truck, where his father was in the passenger seat, and sped away. The department’s Homeland Security Bureau and Priority Response Team assisted in locating the suspect. When he was found, pursuing deputies tried to pull him over, but the man reportedly sped away.
In what one onlooker said was “a little bit crazy like a movie scene,” the suspect, who got stuck in traffic, allegedly began slamming into the other vehicles on the road in a purported attempt to escape. He was ultimately unsuccessful, and the police forced him to get out of his truck at gunpoint.
