A 51-year-old Spain-born man is facing nearly 50 felony charges after allegedly throwing many glass beer bottles from a balcony on the 41st floor of a high-rise luxury condominium building on multiple occasions.

According to the website, The Club at Brickell Bay, a 43-story building containing 643 condominiums, offers “luxury waterfront living” in the Brickell district of Miami, Florida. While it is known for being one of the finest buildings in the area, at the beginning of August, an individual reportedly began committing illegal acts on the premises in a spree that lasted nearly 20 days. It was reported that the suspect had dropped many glass beer bottles while standing on a balcony near the top floor of the building. When the building management company and the authorities became aware of the incidents, they began piecing together details to try to locate the perpetrator.

The management company took several measures to put an end to the situation, including installing a net and several security cameras. It was learned that the incidents happened several times between August 1 and August 19, and the beer bottles were reportedly dropped from a balcony on the 41st floor. It was estimated that $140,000 of damage was done to the building. Upon further investigation, the authorities believed the suspect was one of the tenants.

A woman in Southwestern Florida was arrested after allegedly throwing a memento from the first date she went on with her now ex-husband through the window at his residence when he did not answer the door for her.

Approximately 6 months ago, a 34-year-old woman and ex reportedly ended their relationship, allegedly resulting in her moving out of their home in Bonita Springs. It was reported that she showed up at the residence late in the evening on January 24. When she knocked on the door, the man, who later told the police he was asleep, did not answer. The woman allegedly responded by throwing an object through the living room window, and he was reportedly awakened by the sound of the shattering glass.

The authorities were notified, and Lee County sheriff’s deputies showed up to investigate the report. The woman was still in front of the house when they arrived, and she reportedly told them she was banging on the door because she lived there and was trying to get the man to let her in. When they talked to her ex, he said the woman no longer resided in the house. The deputies noted that there was no women’s clothing in the home, and they were not provided proof that it was her legal mailing address. They reported that they found a brick with the former couple’s name and the date of their first outing etched into it and presumed it was the object used to break the window.
